Collaborative Community Installations > It Takes a Village

"It Takes a Village" is an installation from a Residency at the Salina Arts Center in Salina Kansas. Over the course of the installation I created a framework for people to help create an outdoor/indoor installation. I created 110 woodcuts of flora found in the Kansas landscape for participants of the Smoky Hill River Festival to create prints with that they could then add to the installation. The work moved inside after the culmination of the festival for the duration of the Residency.
